Your show host Robert on special assignment in Detroit. Robert and his long time car buddy Hank Huisman of OEM products drove to the motor city to take part in the annual Concours event at St Johns Inn ( formerly Meadowbrook) and the BOSS Mustang reunion at the FORD World Head Quarters (the glass house). Other guests on the show included George Huisman ( Hank's brother), of Classic Design Concepts, and Ed Meyer, reknowned 1969/70 Boss 429 Mustang/Shelby restoration expert. Also in our travels we visited a number of specialty shops and venders: Ford Flatrock Plant (production line for the Ford Mustang, Shelby, Boss 302), Roush, Ilmor Engineering, RM Motorsports, Avanti, Classic Design Concepts, Experi-Metal, Fournier Enterprises, Kustom Creations, Special Projects, Domino's Pizza Headquarters. A huge Ford car show was held at Ford World Headquarters on the last day,sponsored by the Michigan Mustang Club. Hank and his Grabber Blue prototype 2010 retractible Ford Mustang at Ford World Headquaters in Detroit.
