Your show host Robert and special guest Lyn St James. Lyn started her racing career in 1973 driving a Ford Pinto in SCCA. She then raced in IMSA and Trans-Am from the 1970's to the 1990's. She competed in the 24hrs at Daytona, 12 hrs of Sebring, the 24hrs at Le mans as well as many other race circuits here and abroad. After a few starts in an indy car, she became the first woman to win "Rookie of the year" at the 1992 Indianapolis 500. She has set 31 closed course records over a 20 year period. She has been inducted into the "Florida Sports Hall of Fame". Lyn was also a motorsports commentator, pit reporter and racing analyst for ESPN and ABC Sports. Lyn is the founder of the "Women in the Winner's Circle Foundation", an organization for the education, training and advancement of women in automotive fields. Lyn occasionally participates in vintage racing and she also judges at Concours events. Lyn travels the globe as a motivational speaker. She has written a book entitled "Lyn St. James, An Incredible Journey".
