Your show host Robert with special guest John Morton. John is best known for his winning efforts with BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) and the Datsun 240Z and 510 series cars. He won the SCCA championships in 70-71 and then the Trans-am championships in 71-72. He started racing jalopies in the early 60's in the Carolina's. He then ventured out west and attended the Shelby American School of Driving. This led to a job working for Shelby in his race shop. He became a team driver for Shelby and joined the roster with Ken Miles, Dan Gurney and Dave Mcdonald to name a few. His driving career extended into early 2001. He drove a wide variety of cars such as Indy cars, F5000, GT and GTP at tracks like Riverside, Long Beach, Road America, Watkins Glenn, Daytona, Sebring and Le Mans. John currently paticipates in many vintage racing events. He collects vintage cars and motorcycles and in his spare time takes to the air in his private plane.
