  • Your show host Robert with special guest Ted Nugent. Ted started playing the guitar in1955 after receiving a Les Paul guitar as a gift. His first real success was as the lead guitarist for the band Amboy Dukes out of Detroit. The band had the hit song “Journey To The Center of Your Mind” in 1968. In 1975, Ted went solo and re-established himself as a rock and roll icon with songs like “Stranglehold”, “Free-For-All” and “Catch Scratch Fever”. Ted has been rocking ever since. He has produced 34 albums, sold over 30 million records and performed over 6000 concerts during his remarkable career. He performed at Ruth Eckerd hall here in Clearwater, Florida on August 6th, 2012. Ted is also an outspoken critic of drug abuse and wacky liberal politics. He is an avid NRA and gun supporter as well as a proficient hunter. Uncle Ted has written a number of books, “God, Guns and Rock and Roll”, “Ted White and Blue” (The Nugent Manifesto), and “Kill it And Grill It” with his wife Shemane. Ted has also starred in a number of TV shows such as “Spirit of the wild” and “Surviving Ted”, both of them about hunting in the outdoors. He has also made some guest appearances on hit TV shows like Miami Vice and That 70's Show. Ted has had an amazing career thus far for which he is proud and thankful. Ted is all about what is right for America and family values. He donates money and food to help our returning wounded military soldiers and contributes to many other charities.
