Your show host Robert and special guest Lou Santiago. Lou is the host of “Car Fix” TV on Velocity Channel. Lou's extensive automotive background began growing up on Long Island where he started working on cars with a friend at the age of 13. During high school, he attended a trade program where he learned diesel mechanics. After a few years in college, Lou joined the U.S. Navy and became a Seabee, supporting the Navy Seals. Maintaining heavy equipment and diesel trucks were his duties. After retiring from the Navy, Lou began working with children with behavioral problems. On the side, he started working on cars and honing his skills as a tranny builder and chassis and roll cage fabricator. Being at the right place at the right time and possessing the right skills and personality, Lou landed a job as the host of Spike TV's popular show Muscle Car. Lou hosted 44 shows for Muscle Car before landing another roll as host of “The Ultimate Build-off” on Discovery Channel, a show about building cool cars. He has made guest appearances on Horse Power TV, Extreme 4X4 TV and Hot Rod Magazine TV. He has also been rated one of the top car fabricators in the country. Lou has his own website Lou Santiago.com, where he features a segment on the “How To's” of building cars called “garageinsiders.net”. When Lou is not filming TV episodes, he resides in North Carolina with his family . His side business is building and fabricating cars for customers.
