Your show host Robert and special guest Scotty Begovich. "Scotty B" as he is called, is the throttleman for the 213 mph "Miss Geico" 50' Mystic, turbine powered Offshore Superboat. Scotty started racing flat bottom boats on a New Jersey river at the young age of 10. Once bitten by the bug, he began racing 16' Jersey Skiffs. Feeling the "need for speed" he purchased a 24' Pantera "deep V" racing boat and began racing in Superboat International (SBI) and American Powerboat Association (APBA) offshore racing events. After many years of success, he was approached and asked to drive a catamaran style boat. These boats are much faster and more intense. Today, throttleman "Scotty B" and driver Marc Granet power the world's fastest turbine offshore powerboat, the "Miss Geico". Together they have 5 world championship victories. The "Miss Geico" travels to venues around the country and is a popular crowd pleaser and the biggest draw at any boat show or racing event.
